Back in 2007, I hit rock bottom. I was driving around Austin, hoping someone would pay me $20 to take down their Christmas lights. I had walked away from a steady career in geotechnical engineering to chase the dream of owning a business. After starting—and losing—eight different ventures, from importing coffee to selling insurance, I felt like a complete failure. I was scared, broke, and worried about how I was going to take care of my family.
Then, by chance, I helped a friend clean some windows. Honestly, neither of us knew what we were doing, but something inside me said, why not give this a shot? That decision changed everything.
What started with flyers and a whole lot of trial and error has grown into Central Texas Window Cleaning, a company that now serves more than 3,000 customers every year and has over 680 five-star Google reviews.
